Day Off Mode does not affect the Earned Allowance calculation negatively — tasks paused under Day Off Mode are treated as excused, not missed. Streak counters for Chore Streaks are protected on Day Off days, so your kids don’t lose a 14-day streak because you declared a family movie marathon.
